Dichos, nestled inside the charming El Fidel Hotel in Las Vegas, NM, has quickly gained a loyal following for its delightful coffee offerings and cozy atmosphere. Customers rave about their handcrafted beverages, with one frequent visitor, Cecelia Dardanes, declaring the coffee to be "over the top delicious," particularly highlighting the pineapple boba and triple chocolate cookies as must-tries. The inviting ambiance of the historic hotel adds to the experience, as Billy Roberts elegantly points out, making it one of the best spots in town for coffee enthusiasts.
Notably, Gabrielle Garduno's enthusiasm showcases the café's ability to cater to unique tastes, evidenced by her custom matcha drink paired with a flavor shot of lavender. Katy Appleby, en route from Albuquerque to Boulder, echoes this sentiment, praising the quality of their drip coffee and the friendly service from the owners. Jim Bergstrom's memorable visit not only underscores the café's exceptional coffee but also the quirky charm of the hotel itself.
With its stellar reputation, delightful beverages, and welcoming vibe, Dichos has firmly established itself as a coffee shop worth stopping by for both locals and travelers alike.

The coffee was over the top delicious we had a pineapple boba, a toufick iced coffee, a n iced Leahy, a vanilla cappuccino , a lemon bar and several of the triple chocolate cookies . It was well worth the stop. I give it two thumbs up.

I love this place, and I have since they opened. Every time I come back to Vegas I have to stop here to get a drink. This time I got the matcha (it wasn’t on the menu, but I asked) and it’s delicious! I would also recommend getting a flavor shot of lavender. This place never disappoints. Best coffee shop in town.

What’s cool surprise. It’s inside the El Fidel Hotel, which I didn’t even know existed. The atmosphere inside the hotel is super cozy and charming in that old, well-worn sort of way that’s so prevalent throughout New Mexico. I’m a connoisseur of local coffee shops and this is among the best ambience I’ve ever seen. The coffee and cookie were pretty good too! I pass through the area frequently but now I have a reason to stop.

Wanted to stop for coffee on our way from Albuquerque to Boulder. Dichos is very cute and is located in the El Fidel hotel in Las Vegas, NM. We just got drip coffees but they were fantastic. They also had proper expresso machines for latte. They are less than three minutes off I-25. Owners were super friendly. Highly recommended! Great coffee and local flavor!

I fortunately to the time to jump on the Net and looked up coffee houses and cafes in Las Vegas. I found Dichos in the Hotel Fidel and stopped in. Las Vegas, for all its fame and coolness, has no stand-alone coffee houses, not even a Starbucks. Blah. Who cares about all the great food and historic buildings if I cannot get a decent cup of Java? The Hotel Fidel felt a bit like the "Shining" hotel. Empty, quiet, deserted.....Only one person was in the lobby and she was the server at Dichos. No one was at the hotel front desk for the 15 minutes I was there except a house cat that cooly walked down the stairs and across the lobby floor. I booked a room with the cat. The young lady who took my order and made my Breve Latte was very friendly and made a great cup for me to take on the road to Raton. Las Vegas - what's up? Don't any of you long-term residents love great coffee and the atmosphere of an espresso cafe? Must be a decaf crowd..........

Located inside the old hotel lobby. What a cool building! Coffee is excellent, and it is a lovely place to stop, especially on road trips. Would definitely recommend!

Driving home from Santa Fe to Fort Collins we needed coffee. Las Vegas seemed like a good stop. We looked for coffee shops via Google and decided on this hole in the wall. Other than it being not an active looking hotel the coffee bar and coffee hit the spot. We were hanging around the lobby for nearly 40 minutes and did not see another person except the guy behind the coffee bar. He was wonderful and the coffee was pretty good. I prefer dark roast but their medium roast was ok.

Super welcoming owners, lovely atmosphere, comfy chairs, reasonable prices, fast wi-fi, variety of foods and drinks, two roaming cats (one of which camped out on my lap while I was doing computer work. :) Great latte and churro donut. I'll go back to try their sushi soon!
